Affectionately Known as AnnaKay has been making taste buds dance for a little 15 years professionally. But has been cooking for most of her life

My Story

Coming from the islands and growing up in a Caribbean home it was natural she’d have the skills to cook. Not in this case, cooking was something she highly disliked. Needless to say she became passionate about this skill and pursued it wholeheartedly. Going to school in an unconventional route. She got her start in a gas station deli counter making breakfast and lunch, to fast food services, line cook to eventually working at one of the top luxury hotels in Buckhead Atlanta where she worked 2017-2020 during this time I was promoted to a highly coveted lead cook position. This all came abruptly to an end during the pandemic. This pandemic pushed Chef Annakay to realize that she can finally step out in faith to do what she’s always wanted to do. To be her own boss and provide bold, authentic cuisines. This passion birthed SOUTH IN MY MOUTH LLC ™️.

My Desire

2021 I desired to create my own blend of seasoning and spice line. Years passed before I had the courage to step out to do it. So in April of 2024 I finally had the courage to take this step. Long story short I’m pleased to announce that I have created three spices/ seasonings.
